Anyone know what pound spring is shipped with the Nighthawk Talon? I am shooting 230 grain 45 cal. As a side note... I thought it was funny that Wilson's all use Shok Buffs while the Nighthawks don't. I use to use them and just change them out after every outing since they are so cheap and I carry my gun on and off duty. Now I don't use one at all.

I believe the full size Talon uses a 18lb recoil spring with no shock buffs. A shock buff really isn't needed. Just replace the recoil spring when it starts to wear out. I replace mine when the old spring becomes about 1/4" shorter than a new one. It usually turns out to be about 2000 rounds.

I believe Wilson only puts shock buffs on their 5" guns. Shorter barrelled guns don't always function properly with a shock buff on them.
