I am trying to find one of these but cannot remember the model

Lightweight Compact PX9503L 4" slide,ramped bull barrel,Officers lightweight Aluminum frame.Loaded with Novak rear and 2 tone-OD and Blue.
They also make a stripped model PB9503-1 on gunbroker.com right now.
They even made a steel frame version-forgot that model #.
All models are very hard to find.

Was there one made without the bull barrel, but with the traditional barrel bushing?

I own 2 of these bad boys. One has the black slide and frame with Novaks and single sided safety while the other has a blued slide and silver anodized frame with Mil-Spec sights and contrasting finishes on the slide stop, beavertail safety, mag release and thumb safety (Lew Horton limited edition).

Both guns have the bull barrel and SA did not utilize the conventional bushing system found on Colt's Commanders.

Great guns if you can find them.

The GI .45 4" Champion Model Number is PW9142L. This is the all steel version. I just got one of these. Probably one of the best pistols I have ever owned.
