I am looking to buy the Trijicon HD night sights for my new MC Operator but I don't know which one to get. They have one for the 1911 novak cut, but they also have one that says for springfield. I have heard that springfield has a different cut than a normal cut so would I go for the springfield version? Or is that only for the springfield xd's? I feel stupid for asking but need to know. Thanks.

Novak cut. They will probably require fitting. I'd suggest doing some more research into sights and that 3 dot night sights have a number of disadvantages to them.

The rear sight is a Novak Low-Mount dovetail, the front is a Springfield cut (not sure of dimensions).

Those Trijicon HDs look good on a Glock, but sure do kill a 1911 IMO...
