Dean says he does not support the AWB

Bush says he would sign another AWB if it came to his desk.

The rest of the Dems all would support a new AWB, just like GWB.

Is there anyone other than Dean who would not sign a renewal of the AWB?

DEAN CRITICIZES GOP PLANS TO LET ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN EXPIRE

Calls on President Bush to "Keep His Word" (May 14, 2003)

BURLINGTON, VT--In the wake of an announcement by Congressional Republicans that they plan to allow the federal ban on assault weapons to expire, presidential candidate Governor Howard Dean (D-VT) today called on President Bush to "keep his word" and fight to reauthorize the ban on deadly semi-automatic weapons. Dean says there is no legitimate sporting purpose for assault weapons.

"Sportsmen know they don't need an Uzi to hunt deer," said Dean. "These weapons are not favored by sportsmen. They are favored by criminals and terrorists, and we need to keep them off our streets."

Yes. Whomever the Libertarian Party candidate is as they don't believe in federal gun control laws. Unfortunately the reason why will be that he or she will not be elected. Stay safe, Gary

We hope?

Have you written Bush, Rove, Frist, etc and told them you wont be supporting the Republicans if the AW and Highcap mag ban are renewed?

If everyone just on this board did that it probably wouldnt get there.
