just because ya'll might disagree with me doesnt mean you should try to pull technicallities like that out just because the first letter of the first word in my sentences wasnt captalized.

im sure sara palian's ghost writer had to correct alot of her grammer in her new york times number one selling book too. im sorry i cant afford that kind of resource when throwing some of my opinions out on the internet. im just a common folk, not en elitist english major.

Flagrant violation of the Forum's rules. There is the door------------------>

Readng the rules I don't see anything requiring him to capitalize anything. No dog in the fight, but I was kinda suprised to se someone get banned for something so trivial. Maybee there is some background info I missed out on. If there is another set of rules, perhaps they should be posted with the rules link.

Use of proper grammar and punctuation is listed in the rules. If you read through the thread where he got banned you'll see where someone pointed out to him.

I am not familiar with this particular case, but I can say that most people who are banned do more to deserve it than what the general membership is privvy to.

Take care,
Brian

Some people get banned because they are nothing but trolls looking to stir something up....
If you really want to know ask a Mod.... There may be more to this than anyone knows..

Where is it listed I have posted the forum rules linked at the top of the sites page.

Everyone else,
I figured there was something else going on but I was curious as that seemed to be what was being sited as the reason for the banning. I figured it that were grounds for banning I'd have been gone long ago with my public education and all.:biglaugh:

Often, asking about those that have been banned and questioning things will result in other disciplinary actions being taken.. Notice this thread is very short??? Just joking... well sort-a... Cheers.. Ron

The most likely explanation as to you not being able to see what got the former member banned is that the mods deleted the offending post(s). Moderators often delete offensive material (as well as spam) so we don't have to look at it. I've reported several violations over the years and gone back to check on the post only to find it missing, or that I don't have permission to view it, because the mods have cleaned it up.

There have been a few members who are no longer allowed, one in particular (that comes to mind) had amazing photography skills. He was polite in the posts I read, but I didn't read them all.

This is a VERY special website which weeds out potential trouble makers and arrogant people to only let the most trancendent citizens of the globe become members. We should consider ourselves extremely privileged EX CATM for being members of such a knowledgeable gun loving community.

RunUover was probably being a smart a$$, wasn't contributing constructively or creating friction between members. He/she was a danger to the good name and reputation of this website and it's society.

Serves 'em right I say.

It's a private site. I assume anyone can be banned at anytime, regardless of written rules.

There is no way to write a rule for every infraction.
