January 01, '06 is still far away. I can't help but think if this bill will affect the prices of current inventory of guns in California as they start running out and manufacturers stop marketing their pistols here in the state.

As the time draws near, do you folks think the prices for some 1911's, that we will no longer see here, rise drastically?

Yeah, I plan to buy 2 pistols this year, a .45 and a 10mm since learning of this. It's a sad state of affairs in the PROK...If it wasn't the best land on the planet, I might just move...
