I'm about to order a few 8 Rd Wilson mags.I was wondering since I carry the weapon for ccw, what is the model # for the thinist plastic base pads for the mags. I don't like the standard thickness as it has a tendency to stickout farther increasing the length of the grip. If there are thinner ones, can I order them with the mags or seperate.

The standard thickness is the thinnest plastic base pad, but they do make a thinner steel one. They call it the "low profile steel pad." They are available individually as #47BLP or on the stainless finish 8rnd mag as #47DC or on the black finish 8rnd mag as #47DCB. The steel base pads are almost indestructable and are my first choice.

Is there any where else besides Wilson to buy these baseplates? I want to get a few more.

Thanks
