scored a gorgeous set of cocbolo grips for my new Government model today at the gunshow, I brought the gunw ith me...with no less than 20 people askign of I was selling it (inside the Colt box no less!). Although I was disapointed to see not very many parts..I wanted a new arched MSH..grrr.

Its hard to interpret what you are saying. Why would so many think you are selling? When your carrying your gun. And why would they think its such a big deal? Since its only a month or two old. I'm puzzled by all this.

You are as puzzled as me my friend! I was just carrying around the thing int he colt blue box, the only reason I brought it was to make sure the grips I bought would fit. And whenever I was walking..people would just stop me in the aisles and ask if I was selling it..it was getting rather annoying.

Yup, you can't walk into a gunshow carrying a box of any kind without some guy pouncing, hoping to find a $1000 gun for $250. I am particularly disgusted by the buzzards that hang by the front doors.

Arched grooved MSH ? I've gotten a number of Masen made housing from Brownells. They worked well for me

Hey Ugly-Jeep-Truck,, I also was there at the fairgrounds,, it sure was crowded. I got there when it opened and left 2 1/2 hrs later and the line to get in was almost 100 yds long. wasn't a bad one though this time.
Got a Wilson Combat mag for my defender for $22, new. couple of drift punches,(small ones keep breaking) and 30 rnds of S&B 12g.00buck for $10. not bad. Question? Why are these dealers asking so much for used guns? They're out of their minds. Guy wanted $400 for a sistema that he had to re-parkerize himself,(bad job to boot).

I had a guy approach me as I was sitting on the steps outside a gun show..resting the old feet. He asked me if I was looking to buy an " old guns "...he didnt realize he had to pay $8 to get into the show. I asked what he had and he told me that it was jsut a few old guns his dad had left him and his wife said " No guns in the house "...turned out to be a rusted out old single shot 12 gauge..and an old Mohawk48 aemi auto 12 gauge and a winchester 97 made in 1903.
He asked if I would give him $50 for all 3 !
I said sure...and even though the 97 is not in perfect condition it is a shooter and the Mohawk 48 is the new house shotgun....I cam e to the show to buy bullets only and the wife told me " No more handguns "...well they weren't handguns so I bought em !

I heard the West Palm show wasn't that great, Broward War Memorial (the only show we do) was packed, people lined up out the doors, and it was pouring rain...

I've noticed there is starting up a lot of gouging on the Romanian AK's. It's getting pretty bad, when people are having us recieve them, and they're paying 350+ shipping...

Oh, and U-J-T, you should just name a price beyond all reason, you can always get another

The West Palm gun show was packed with customers but it was lacking the usual dealers. Lots of junk dealers & such selling crappy surplus gas masks & ammo at jacked up prices.
