Bought a new Springfield Armory Mil-Spec at a great price, and I want a little work done on it, but would like to keep the basic look. KISS

I want a crisp trigger about 4.5#, but with the stock spur hammer and trigger.

I want the grip safety reshaped a bit underneath.

I want a tritium front sight and a plain rear, probably a Novak or Wilson.

I want the sharp edges removed from the slide, then get it reparkerized.

Steel firing pin, Wolff springs and any reliabilty work that needs to be done. Bulletproof slide stop and extractor if needed.

Anything else NEED to be done?

Know anyone that can do it at a reasonable price? Any aspiring 'smiths want some work?

Just a bit of advise don't be penny wise and pound foolish............send it to EGW get it done once and done right. Honest shop, great work, fair price. To my way of thinking you can't ask for more.

Couldn't agree with Joee more send it to EGW. I have a Springfield 1911 that they fixed up
for me and it is like a different pistol. They do very good work and George is one of the nicest guys you'll ever have to work with really knows his stuff and doen't mind sharing info.
Also the guys there will listen to what you want and work with you. Check out their web site and give them a call. You will not be disapointed with their work.
