Just broke in my new Patriot Expert, Stainless model. Here goes:
230 FMJ Winchester - 50 rounds @ 21 feet, 2hand grip, grouping first 8, 2.5", off 1 click down, 2 click left, Set sights, 2nd 8, 2" group, one click high, but wait for 25yard, 3rd 8, 1.75, fourth group 1.75, re-sight, 5th 8, on point, 1.25", sixth 8, blowing out my 10/9 bull-seyes.

25yd, first 8, on point, 3" (me), progessivly got better thru the ohter 42 rounds, last couple clips, blowing out my bulls-eyes (10/9 ring type)

Recoil-Very pleasant shooting, less recoil than my SA 1911, or even my 9m 5906 S&W.

No probs. jambs, etc, ran 100, cleaned, another 50 rounds @ 50 yards.... I need to pratice on that one, about 4-6" groups, 2handed

I did check my grip screws because they were not aligned at 12 o'clock like many stated, one screw was loose 3/4 turn (after 150 rounds)

Sights tight, at this time I have not tore down for final inspect & clean, will post tommorrow with two photo's

Ohhh I let five people at the range shoot, they all loved it... espically the guy with a Ruger 45, he let me shoot his....blahhhhh..

The SA shotswell for a low cost gun, I just have the plain jane, no custom work at all, so there is no comparison, the PTE-S shoots MUCH better, actually as well as a Kimber I shoot often.
