Hi,

I just bougth a Colt (still waiting till the costom work is done) and today i found a used Para Ordnance P14 (very good condition) for an even lower price. (I can give the prices but they are in euro's: Colt Gold Cup + Reblueing and little custom work at 738€ and the Para stock at 595€)

Did i pay to much for the Colt or is it comon that Colt is more expensive then Para.
I have to admid i like the looks of my Colt better than those of the Para :p

What type of Colt was it?

Overall though, you did well. IMO the Colt is a better pistol than a PO. Fit and finish is a beauty on the Colts.

Enjoy and stop worrying would ya! :p

Series 70 Gold Cups cost more, and are worth more than a Para P.14.

That converts to $878 US dollars. You did excellent with all the extras. Please post your report after you have a chance to shoot it.

POS's er...I mean PO's are good if you like MIM parts, a crappy finish and a tank of a gun. Not that Colt doesn't use a few MIM parts, but much less and they're easily replaced.

Still looking around for what grips i'm gonna put on it ...
i think fake ivory is quite nice on a blued gun.

Peke... you made a mighty fine choice with that Colt. I'd take one over a Para ANYday.
