Trying to convert a .45acp model 25-2 to .45 LC. Need a Smith .45 LC cylinder and ratchet.

This thread belongs in the classifieds. There also should be a rule where you need a minimum number of posts before you can place a classified ad on this board in order to prevent what is generally a "hit & run" type of affair. Most boards have rules like this.

FWIW: You'll have to notch the outside rear corner of the 25-5 cylinder to clear the frame lug on the 25-2. You'll also need to shorten the 25-5 cylinder as it is longer than the 25-2.

The same person posted on the S&W Forum. The conversion is not worth the sacrifice of the Model 25-2. There are too many 25-5's out there available to fool with converting a good target revolver.
