WHO KNOWS ABOUT THE NEW XD .45?ARE THEY TOO BIG?ARE THEY TOO HEAVY?14 RDS.I'M WONDERING IF THE GRIP IS TOO BIG.:scratch:

Ease up on the caps lock. The grip is ever so slightly bigger than the XD-40. The grip length is a tad longer. That's it. It's probably the skinniest double stack 45 around. Great ergonomics.
Here's a comparison to the XD-9. As you can see it's pretty small..

The poster at SigForum paid $519 for his and you can find his range report over there. He likes it, BTW, and says the dimensions are about equal to that of the .40 XD.

I can ahrdly wait to see it in the 5" tactical. I guess glock missed the boat with the 34, 35 and yet no big 45acp.

my local dealer said WHEN he can get one the 13rd all black will be $478.46 and the stainless slide model will be $505.96 thats before tax and such. Not to bad if you ask me.

It is being offered with 10 round mags, and the Kali DOJ will OK it early in the year. Springfield is agressivly going after the West Coast market.

I fondled one at a gunshow today. NICE indeed. It's very comfortable to hold. I have small hands.. It was going for $477 +tax. Didn't have $$ to pick it up. :mummy:

Held one a couple of days ago at my local shop. They wanted $479.95 for it and I would have taken it except the frame was Black. I want one with the OD Green frame and the shop owner thinks he can have one for me in a couple of weeks. We shall see.

I was at gander mountain on saturday and they said they cannot get any at this time,yet some of you have already handled them.I guess I will try another place.the prices you guys are quotin are very fair,I thought that was a 600.00 gun for sure:biglaugh:

on gunbroker it said it was a hard to find item.am I missing something here.why can't dealers get them?:scratch:

As has been said before...Only a select few dealers got the initial 250 guns. Within a month, the pistol won't be so hard to find.
