I picked one up this afternoon - price through my local dealer was "only" $850.
Fit and finish are much nicer than I expected. The parkerizing is a beautiful black, and the checkering on the slide stop lever, mag release, safety, and hammer is sharp and crisp.
Pistol only came with one mag. Called Colt - they said some (mistakenly) went out with one mag only. Second mag will be shipped after Colt's summer vacation break.
The pistol is very tight - no barrel or slide play. Trigger is VERY nice, too.
