There's an article in Shooting Times about the new CZ40, with explanation of the joint venture with Colt, Colt's subsequent pull-out, etc. They said the whereabouts of the 500 Colt Z40's is unknown. I could have bought one at a local gun shop six months ago, for about $500. There's one advertised in the latest Shotgun News, and the guy wants $1500 or $3000 or some unreasonable amount. Has anyone seen a Colt Z40 for sale? Anyone have one? I see CZ apparently has no trouble getting the Colt Competition rear sight for their CZ40, that Colt can't get for their 1911's!
