I found this fascinating video out on 'The Daily Aviation' website, video length is almost 21 minutes.

From about 3m:20s to 9m:15s they show the Gatling gun being disassembled, cleaned and reassembled, then placed back into a Warthog with ammo being loaded. They have good explanations and some nice technical info.

If you place your cursor over the title below and Right 'click', then choose "open link in new window", it should take you directly to the video:

I would hate to be a ground soldier, on the receiving end of a Warthog strafing run. That plane with its cannons and Gatling guns was designed for one thing and one thing only... low flying strafing runs. If we gave the Ukrainians, two or three dozen Warthogs at the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, those columns of Russian troops invading Ukraine would have been decimated... war over. Done.

There was a massive Russian tank column that got trapped on a highway in Ukraine at the start of the war, and it was attacked piecemeal by Ukranian forces. I remember someone on the news saying if only they had a squadron of A-10s they could've turned that entire column into mincemeat just like the Highway of Death during the Persian Gulf War.
