re: training, there is training, and then practice. Many people conflate the two but they are different. I would argue routine practice is most important (provided one is not practicing something that will work against him or be unsafe). Many citizens without tactical training have developed familiarity with firearms and become safe (in terms of handling guns well) and dangerous (to assailants) with them. How many people practice regularly? I do, many of you do, most people on such forums do. The gen. public? Maybe more should. Training is a course you take which is not a regular thing; practice is regular. It is practice that builds familiarity and muscle memory. Obviously this lady practiced enough, thank goodness!
