I just got my happy little pocket pistol yesterday. 2 questions:

1-But, the magazine, slide and hammer are So Stiff! That'll break in and get easier over time, right? How many rounds would I need to go through before it's not a PITA?

2 -I am a vain creature and want to Gucci my gat. I'm looking at titanium gun to gild the barrel and hammer and possibly other small parts if I can.

The issue is, they "can NOT coat aluminum, cheap cast parts, pot metal, brazed parts, springs, plastic or other non-metal parts."

Any way to find out what material the other parts are made of? Safety, the pin/bar thing that holds the receiver on the slide, magazine release, that plunger thing keeping the spring from flying out the front? I read that the trigger is aluminum (sadly).

You could always just ask them. They might tell you. I have had decent lucky dealing with RIA.

Generally looking you will need to fire at least 250 rounds to loosen things up a bit, twice that is not unreasonable. I was not aware that the magazine springs were so tough in that thing.
