Rick at Desert Gun Leather can help you out. These two came from him .................. sure some modifications and/or a clip could be added to transform them from a pocket holster to a belt holster of some sort. He can/will make anything you need. View attachment 719923

I was a deep cover guy back in the day. Getting caught with any gun could get you deceased. So, tiny was the rule and never anything that cops carry. I carried 22s and 25s, and later I carried the Seecamp 32 acp for years and the LCP Custom the last decade or so. To be clear, I do rely on the 380 very often. I carried a Walther PPK/s as a CCW for years but just prefer a pocket 9mm like the tiny Keltec Pf9 or Glock 43, I carry both now and use pocket carry.

The Seecamp liked the hard leather pocket holster like these and they are great. However, the OP is wanting the gun out of the pocket.

I have a nylon pouch that I like, I am going to replace it with a Sneaky Pete. You can place them next to a concealed clip pouch or cell phone pouch and no one thinks of them as a gun carrier. So, many people carry goofy gadgets on the belt, they are a good option.

My wife and I take hikes or long walks and she does not like to carry most of the time. So, I will add the LCP as a second in case somebody twists an ankle or cannot walk out. We have actually had two encounters where a gun had to be shown to prevent us from becoming victims. My little pouch is like this but nylon. I have never had anyone suspect it contained a gun that I know of, not even gun guys.

Some of the finger extensions may not fit but mine does. When the LCP first came out, I shot 2 of them, and could not hit anything. When the Custom came out, with the raised sights, I fell in love with the little thang...My self defense range is 50 feet, with the custom from a 2 hand hold Weaver stance, I can put them in a 2.5 inch group at one second per round. Dandy little gun.

I’ve been content enough with my little LCPII to not even consider the Max, but I wouldn’t mind at all giving it a run.
I have not fired one, but held one and they are not much bigger certain not noticeable for front pocket carry like I do.
I already have a stable of small ones, the Seecamp 32, NAA 22 mag, Colt Jr 25, Jennings 22, Taurus 780 38, and some others. That said, a 11 round 380 has a lot to offer, and this one is the most accurate of any 380 I have seen.

The specs show they are within 0.015 in width and 0.21 tall. So, if a BB is 0.177-----then there is not much added either direction. And you go from 7 (6

So, a BB is 0.177. The width difference is 0.015 and the height is 0.13 and the length is 0.08 and 1 ounce difference, that sounds pretty good when you go from 7 rounds to 11 rounds.

If I did not already have several I would sure buy the LCP max. My wife has a 380 Remington a great little gun if you can master a long DA pull and she has a LCR in 9mm. She does not care for the 9mm recoil. I may have to convince here to try one of these....

I bought the older one for one reason. I want that heavy revolver trigger pull for pocket carry.
If you just want it to shoot and not carry, I'm sure the later ones would be better with the lighter trigger pull.
I may be wrong but I thought the newer LCP Max had the heavy 8=9 round trigger pull. That is why some people put the trigger kits in them to get them down to 4.5 pounds. My custom is an older one but I do not ever remember measuring it, the gun shoots so darn good I would not change anything on it. When you say pocket carry, do you mean with or without a holster? I was an undercover guy for years and never carried a holster of any kind, but other than that, I always have a cheap pocket holster and NOTHING goes in the pocket with the gun. I have heard of keys and coins setting them off, but that is just pretty predictable.

Mine is one of these, those tall sights make all the difference. I went from like 2 foot groups to 2 inch groups, really. I have no clue why the trigger is red. Probably because they could charge more and call it a custom.😃
