I don't know anything about your gun, but I can say I like the trigger guard under cut, and love its gray finish!

I pulled it out of the box, cleaned all the preservative oil out of it, lubed it properly, threw a holosun comp and went to the range, shot 50 rounds, zero issues, slides like glass and the trigger is crisp and short, probably 2.5 to 3 lbs, I have to measure it whit my gauge.
Next step is an IDPA match on Sunday, we'll see how it goes...

I believe it has the right amount of play between slide and frame not rattling at all, thumb safeties are crisp and soft enough to activate easily up and down with your thumb, finish wise I would say is not bad but I would prefer DLC instead of PVD, the grip is very grippy and confortable, the optic plate system is very cool, it has a huge recoil lug that will keep optic tight and cowitness perfectly.
Magazines, yes, they are propietary but it comes with 4 and you can buy as much as you want on the only store and are cheaper than the average 1911/2011 mags like MBX or Checkmate.
The recoil guide rod needs a symple tool that comes with the gun but Bul offers a tooless rod in the store which I'm going to order.

Looks like it is proprietary, MBX lists BUL double stacks separately from 2011 or PO.

 

Yes, propietary mags but it comes with 4 and are readily available in the store cheaper than regular 1911/2011

 

And they actually have some today, which is not always the case.

A friend has their base model single stack which is very nice.

 

They got a pretty big batch for the holidays, almost all models available

I'm sure you won't regret it.
My wife got the TAC 5 Pro right before it came out of stock 2 days ago.
She has the Alpha Foxtrot Romulus but when I got my Tac 5 she felt in love with it.

 

Any further update on the TAC 5?

 

Could you tell us the actual height WITH the magazine? I want to know if it exceeds the 151mm limitation for ipsc standard division
