Thugs won't need to rob the police of their Glocks (as if that's an easy thing to do). Just like here in WA the thugs bring their weapons in from out of state and continue to shoot at each other as well as burglarize homes using banned firearms and full-cap mags, while the hapless homeowners are forced to fight back with neutered state-compliant firearms.
Interesting read on the statistics of traced crime guns

it will be rejected in the scotus, that will take some time, maybe the grand children of the Californians will get the benefit of the reversal. lol

Typical lefty crap. The gang bangers and bad guys and the ones getting and using the happy switches…so they pass laws to screw law abiding people and owners that don’t actually…you know…break laws.
They're not stupid, they realize exactly what they're doing, and what they're doing, is they're following their well laid out blueprint, nothing more.

Jap, it happens all over, even here in Indiana..Years ago when I got my CDL there were 3 individuals of southern border descent that could not speak or read English, so when they handed out the written part of the test the tester told them to not worry as they were bringing a translator in , this was a timed test by the way which I was still required to comply with. They left the test on t’he 3 individuals desks for them to peruse while I took mine.

The translator showed up as I was having my test reviewed by the testor, as I listened to the translator explain the test to the 3 individuals I was getting mad and must’ve given the guy reviewing my test results a “look” as he looked disgusted and just shrugged at me. It’s just not right ! We need a changing of the guard where our politicians are concerned which I believe is why they really want to take our guns away ,,, to prevent another “tea party” imho..
It’s certainly very bad when any state gives non English speaking people with no experience driving a big rig a CDL. It’s been a federal law from all the way back to the 1930’s. Kind of like selling a firearm to someone that’s not a citizen and no way to check there background.

Jap, yep that’s been quite a few years ago and had me fuming for a very long time.. then I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and was stupid enough to tell them which started a process of me being sent to a local hospital at least every year for an in depth sleep study followed by a review by the state to see if I was fit,, even though my CPAP machine recorded everything and showed that I was 100% compliant. It’s ok if you can’t read , speak or write the language or understand the signs ,,, but being 100% compliant with their sleep rules is grounds for persecution,,, still gets me po’d !!

Just more political ineptitude! They just suck !

I guess that violent crime will just disappear from the State now.

As a native Californian here I have a little schadenfreude thing going on. I sincerely hope that NYC will go fully down the porcelain fixture before CA does. Also this law effects only NEW sales so my Glocks will get much more valuable, assuming the gov. signs the bill, which I think is very likely. He HATES guns and HATES gun owners despite his rhetoric to the contrary. He has his reasons, but he should not allow a personal-family tragedy create a reason for him to persecute citizens of CA. That isn't what we pay him for.

On a serious note, though, California is a lost cause. But, then again, what can you expect when the people vote for failure, corruption, depravity, and anti-American priorities.

Never thought I'd say this, but I'm on Glock's side on this one because, while it may start with them, all firearms are on the chopping block. Once the loons get traction banning one, it'll be a snowball effect.

You can rely on this happening, or being attempted, wherever Democrats rule. Even when they know bills are unconstitutional, they’ll try to pass them anyway. That’s why our resistance is absolutely necessary.

Per William Kirk's video this ban was inspired by a Glock with a "switch" that was part of a crime committed by a dude who had been sentenced to ten years but was out in four...

See how that works? Don't get angry at the perp, or at the system that let him out of jail early. No, get angry at the weapon he used and ban law-abiding citizens from having one.

Many modern striker-fired semi-autos are basically clones of the Glock. How long until someone comes up with a "switch" to convert any of those to full-auto?

And converting any semi-auto to full-auto has been illegal on a state and federal level for almost 100yrs!

Newsom wasn't even present the day his grandfather committed suicide. Not saying the event wasn't a tragedy, but he's clearly using it as an excuse and to gain sympathy.

One of the things to look for with this Gavin ahole…is legislation like this and that he actually vetos it to look good to the rest of the country. Not sure if these clowns really understand the flyover states…but there is no way he does anything to undermine HIS PERSONAL gains.

He is all for relaxing environmentAl rules and keeping Diablo Canyon open (now that he is clearly running) despite doing everything he could to do the exact opposite for the entirety of his life till now.

He is the ultimate selfish politician…proves it daily. My question is will the rest of the country watch things like this bill.
