Anyone order any grips from "Cool Hand" (Gun Grips - 1911 - 1911 Full Size Grips - Page 1 - Evergreen Sources Ltd.)

Their G10 grips look exactly the same as the "VZ" brand ones, same cuts, same styles, etc, but at a fraction of the cost. Almost seems to be too good to be true.

I have a Stan Chen SI magwell on order and want to add a set of G10 grips, I just don't want to get scammed if this place isn't legit.

Yes, several. They are cheap, and easy to order on Amazon. This means you can experiment with different colors in person at low cost. I've found them to be more or less accurately described, but at the end of the day, none of the ones I ordered I'd order again, except maybe the black. I think it's just hard to get pictures to look like real life, so the ones I ordered weren't quite what I was expecting. But I'm a little color blind, so it's probably me.

I currently have a set of black VZ Operator II's on the gun, that I like quite a lot.

Still have a bunch of the Cool Hand grip sets in the parts box, though.

I purchased a couple of sets for Sig P226. I found they didn't fit well and needed some work.
I bought a set of black/gray, they turned out to be gray with a little black. Not at all what I had in mind.
I dyed them with RIT and they came out all right. I left them on a pistol I sold.
LOK grips are well made and the colors are bright and true.

Your link doesn't work. I have not purchased grips from Coolhand, but I have from another favorite, VZ and a lesser know brand, Stoner CNC. Mostly because they had the patterns I wanted, that's not to say Coolhand doesn't have good patterns as well.

Only VZ makes the MARSOC pattern and colors in G10 grips that I have found.
Stoner CNC makes Para/RIA double stack G10 grips that are hard to find and have several cool patterns.

I just got these Stoner CNC to go on a planned FDE 1911.....

coolhand and guun grips are chicom.

LOK-Grips, VZ, and Stoner CNC are top grade American companies. They use top grade, consistant materials. They use CNC so the shape, thickness and texture is KNOWN. These American manufacturers each offer at least 5 different textures of their own design. And a dizzying array of features / modifications.
Urge you to CALL these people to order your grips. they will happily walk you through it.

You won't find anybody to talk to from the china made companies.

It's all well and good to say
MAGA.
Are you willing to do your part?

I have a few sets I bought on ebay. They are functional, I just don't care for the big scoop that is standard on their G10 grips. VZ grips are much better.

Very disappointed with the Cool Hand grips. I just bought a TRP that came with full size VZ grips. I always thought G10 grips would be uncomfortable but I was shocked at how “grippy” the VZ grips were. So I bought some Cool Hand G10 grips because I thought I could save a few bucks and I like the thin style grips. The fit well and look fine but they are very smooth, not grippy like the VZ grips were.
