But it isn't straight from CZ. You found it on another internet forum, which is one step removed from CZ in the whole telephone game of life. :)
He said he contacted CZ support and they replied that yes they indeed have some MIM parts in them. That really shocks me because a big deal was made about them using no MIM when they were released to market last year. When I first tore down and inspected my pistol I didn't see any tell-tale sprue marks, however the sear and disconnector were exceptionally well-finished and polished bare in spots, which if they are MIM means the sprue marks were sanded off during final polishing. I went off the earlier assurances that there were no MIM parts when I did my review of the pistol, but I guess now the cat is out of the bag. While I agree that using MIM parts shouldn't be such a big deal, for some people it is and the fact that we were originally told there was no MIM is a little disappointing.

Maybe I read it wrong. Perhaps bamashooter can show us the actual forum thread in question.

No idea. Feel like I'm on a CZ bashing mission of late but that's not the case. To me it really is a nice pistol. Very well made. Just feels and fires "stout" if you know what I mean. Those Japanese make some good steel.:biglaugh:
I hate to bash the pistol as well, because overall it was a spectacular pistol at the price point. I realize now why they wouldn't help me with a new thumb safety for mine, because even as they were making the second batch they were already planning on pulling the plug and never had a chance to make any additional components.
