I am sooo….confused.

What part of personal responsibility is it that D’s just don’t get? It is always the inanimate objects’ fault and never the actual person.

Reality is, o want these clowns to keep doing crap like this so the real world sees them for what they are…not to bright…

I've said it many times before. Demokrats know exactly what they are doing. It is intentional and planned. They need criminals to be out there in the public stirring up trouble causing chaos and fear. Demokrats need this fear so they can gin up the public into a frenzy so they are willing to surrender their rights and elect demokrats to power with the false message that demokrats will save them by enacting un-Constitutional laws that infringe on rights until those rights are totally eroded under the false message of security. Once demokrats do this they will be in position to remove the Constitution and enact their communist paradise with only them in power to control the populace.

Connecticut - Dating back to the early 1600s. Home state of 'Founding Fathers' Ellsworth, Sherman, and Johnson, among others. Nicknamed, quite ironically, the 'Constitution State'. Now, led by an amazing assortment of deluded imbeciles and useful-idiot Democrats! Gov. Lamont, Lt. Gov. Bysiewicz, Senators Blumenthal & Murphy, 5 Representatives including this one:

.... all Dems. Plus just about every other state gov't position is held by Dems. Can you truly expect anything different? The shocking part is that guns are still allowed there at all.

Anyone who, at this late date, still thinks that you can coexist in a society with people who believe and think as these people do is just about as deluded as they are, except in a very naive and foolish way.

I must say, you do have a weird bunch in Congress.

Why not pass a bill allowing people to sue car manufacturers when their their vehicles are used to mow down people in crowds intentionally?

Vehicles used as weapons seem to have a really high body count as opposed to a firearm.

Case in point... the recent Vancouver SUV attack.

I wonder what happen if one of these bills would unintentionally put all gun manufacturers out of business. Where would the police and military get their guns? They could make an exception: but very few manufacturers would be able to live on the truncated business.

Do you really think they give a damn? Look at England. Virtually all of their small arms manufacturers are gone. Their own military can't even field a decent home-grown rifle anymore, so they have to buy or contract out to foreign companies.

And then there's China, where the only gun manufacturers there are owned or controlled by the government.

England is a woke nightmare. Ban on knifes, even.

You can't order a "black coffee" in England. Its "coffee, no milk".

Theyll be an official Islamic nation in less than 20 years.
No kidding... The guys that make the Swiss Army Knife... you know the multi-tool pocket knife? Well they are now making a version that does not contain a Blade just for places like Britain!! :geek:

So can we sue judges for letting out violent criminals early when the criminal kills someone? Can we sue budweiser and chevy because a drunk drank an 18 pack of budweiser and drive his Chevy into an innocent families car and killed them? Can we sue Johnson bats because some thug beat to death another person?

You know this brings up a great point and highlights the utter ineffectiveness of Republicans - or at least what passes for a Republican these days. The Dems are constantly on the attack. Right or wrong, inane or absurd, they're constantly cranking out bills, at all levels of Gov't, in order to keep their agenda front and center, always moving forward. Republicans talk - and boy can they talk! - but they do next to nothing.

Just look at our current predicament: We have the House, the Senate, and the WH, and what have they done, in terms of laws, to derail, or at least slow down, the leftist agenda??? By this point, if they held all three, leftists would've had a slew of bills up for vote or signature. With the exception of perhaps a handful - and that's a stretch, I know - Republicans are wholly deficient, and thoroughly inadequate when it comes to squaring off against Progressive Dems. At the rate we're going, legislatively, they will have little if any gains come the midterms.
Communists throughout history have used this tried and true method of overthrowing a current govt. So have our demokrat's favorite historical figure, Adolph Hitler. They sure seem to love Adolph so much that they've incorporated his name into their favorite tactic of "projection." Whereby demokrats have frequently used projection tactic of calling their enemies (like Donald Trump) Hitler, when it is they, themselves that actually revere him and his tactics. Just like the way they call Trump and MAGA suppporters the greatest threat to democracy, when it is actually them that are the domestic enemies of our country and our Republic.

Unfortunately, many people in our country are fooled by demokrats and think that they are stupid and incorrectly believe that demokrats are weak on crime and want to ban guns only because they think that will solve America's problems. When it's just the opposite. Demokrats know full well that their policies will not stop crimes. They do it only to gain power to eventually overthrow our Republic. That's their true endgame. Not just banning guns or or promoting progressivism.
Guys, havanajim and INV136 are right about this. I watched a little of the Trump speech last night. Repubs would have stayed on their heels in the corner just swinging away in a punch-drunk haze if it hadn’t been for Trump. Maybe we had forgotten how to fight or just lost the will and of course there is their cheating! We let Trump do all the heavy lifting… he will be out of office in a few years—then what? The GOP needs to grow a pair and fast! I believe the GOP is completely infiltrated with dim/comms—we gotta stay off our azzes and on top of this.

Trump needs to pump up Vance and DeSantis or whoever we want in there. He has proven to the world he had been set-up from the start with impeachment, bogus trials, rotten judges, the COVID Scam, tons of dark $$$ and everything else they had to fabricate to try to stop him. I don’t know if Trumps ego will let him yield the spotlight in enough time? He has nothing to lose—except his empire, his legacy and his family’s future! But we will see if he does the right thing now and helps the next Gen into power. The old war horse has earned the right to ride off into the sunset in a few years.

I was thinking about the Don Knotts speech in the movie “The Ghost and Mr. Chicken” and the jeer from the peanut gallery-“That a boy Luther!“ and who else we may have in the “right” wings we don’t know about.

I finally got involved in “2024.” My state is swing “blue“ (purple?) because of demographics and unions.
I got active to help get others involved here—not because I was anyone in the process but because there is a real need for us to do so. I would have much rather been doing more of the things I love to do… not become involved in the very thing I hate—politics! We know they will and have done anything to steal power and keep it. We can’t let that happen… again.

Maybe get involved… volunteer on a local level and go from there—unless we want to give into these louse in less than 2 years? Trump is trying to right the ship—it will take all of us to do that.

Well the PLCAA is a humongous target of the leftist anarchists that we generally call Democrats... yeah those guys! :geek:

Every now and then; they announce their intention to repeal PLCAA, manage to start some legislation in one house or the other which generally fizzles out... then again they always announce "no other industry enjoys such immunity" which is false and unequivocally untrue... It never ends.

Below is just a tiny list of their attempts to repeal PLCAA I googled it and it would fill 20 pages of links on this thread. The point I make is PLCAA is their number one target above all gun control laws they want to pass. Problem is, the day may come in 4, 8, 12 years when they end up controlling both houses of Congress and the White House and we are royally screwed. If you check out the links, they have repeatedly tried this for the last 20 years.

Simple solution. Get the Surgeon General involved. Firearms are dangerous, if used incorrectly they may result in hearing loss, moments of joy, Glock leg, and potential loss of life. This has worked well for the tobacco industry, which kills thousands of people a day, for years. Being a stickler, I would like to see similar warnings on baseball bats, hammers, steak knives, screw drivers, automobiles, Tide pods, shovels, and sushi.

I remember the massive tax increases on tobacco products years ago, with cities spending millions based on the river of tax money that would be flowing to them. A year later they were whining because people stopped smoking and the river dried up. A few brave democrap politicians actually said it was about money much more than health. The same applies to gun control, it’s about control not health and safety.

I am still waiting on legislation against car companies, breweries, etc. Of course they own far more politicians.

This opens the door for car manufacturers.to be sued for criminal misuse of a vehicle, knife manufacturers, etc, the list goes on. Not only is it severely lacking in logic, where does it end?

Mad Dog Earle --------- Yes, there HAS been a LOT of infringing, and attempted infringing, on The Constitution lately. The most I've ever seen in a single year. Two different rights guaranteed by the 14th Amendment attacked for example.

And a highly suspect (and quick) repercussion to someone using disgusting, but " 1A protected " speech.

Anyhow, THIS particular back-door attack on the Constitution is a super shady move.

I think that because the politicians proposing it don't have the political numbers, or a high enough office, to violate the constitution directly they're trying this revolting Legal Bankruptcy attempt ---and not for the first time, either. This "Sue The Maker" stuff has been tried many times.

I hope it fails as usual.

I really hate it when politicians of any flavor bend, twist & reinterpret the LETTER of the law to violate the SPIRIT of the law.

I wish that all Americans would oppose the lessening of, or attempted outright removal of, our constitutionally protected rights. By ANYONE.
