I'm going to be ordering my Talon sometime next month when I get my funds right... I know the reputation Nighthawks have, function, reliability and pure beauty... My question is, how do you get over the fact that you're carrying a $3000 pistol and in the event that you actually have to use it for SD situation, you get it taken away and have a 50/50 chance of getting it back?
the reason I ask is I carry a full size springer for EDC and the cost is way less than $3000 and one of my good friends owns a GPR and he keeps in his safe... We had a conversation about SD and he said the reason he keeps his GRP in the safe is because he's heard of justified SD shooting where the good guy didn't get he's gun back. He does want to take the chance of that happening with his Nighthawk...
Anyway, any opinion on the subject would be really appreciated... Maybe this will be a good thread to keep going, I know there are going to be a lot of different opinions on the matter...
