Looks like you simply pull the tube in the middle upwards.

 

There may be a seal under the cap and you may need something to pry the hinged spout up from its recess.

 

Like an idiot, I'd probably twist the top off with my teeth, and then figure out the hard way how it works. But that's a new design to me as well.

In the process, you might find that twisting one way of the other opens or closes the spigot. No idea, Bob.

 

Use a jeweler's screwdriver (or ?) to dig the tip out.
It's tucked in there deep.

Gun guys struggling to open gun oil..... This is clearly the container that they should put prescription drug in! We'd solve that drug problem, lickety split! 😅

 

i was going to suggest putting it on a fence post and hitting the top of the bottle with .22, but i guess that seems extreme...

Drill a hole in it and pour into a container you know how to use! Yer gonna forget how to open it and ask again if you don’t! 😆

I keep the titan in the range bag since it seals up nice and tight with no leaks, but the bottles FJ linked are on the bench and in my home cleaning kit since the titan is such a slow dripper

Yup, a precision oiler. Only need a drop on each each side when the DW locks up!!😆

 

I've had this happen with a few items that you need to adjust or open for batteries when they give poor instructions. You mess with it but don't want to force it and break something. Then I find it on youtube and it's very easy, just poorly described in the instructions

 

That’s exactly my problem- I don’t want to end up cleaning, lubricating, and protecting my floor when I break something and spray it all over the place.

Some packaging is over the top, as though it was never designed to be opened. Last night my wife asked me if I could open a small dispenser of nicotine tablets for her. Had to use my knife and a pry tool. By the time i was done I wanted a shot of whiskey and a cigarette, neither of which I indulge.

 

Break free's new aerosol cans suck too! Have to try another brand.
