Eotech or Trijicon ACOG

Decision

I struggled with this issue after I bought the Wilson UT-15.

I knew I wasn't going to use the AR for home defense, just target practice and, hopefully, some pig shooting in the future.

I looked at the ACOG, but my local gun shop owner talked me into an EOTECH and a Leupold 4-12X scope.

I really like the combination. Both have quick disconnect mounts that hold their zero. I use the EOTECH for shorter range shooting and the Leupold for the 100-200 yard shooting.

I think the ACOG would have been an excellent compromise if I had wanted only one optic.
