LOK, VZ, Hogue, Brownells... it's the Ed Brown bobtail cut, so pretty much all the well-known companies that make grips for 1911s offer grips that's fit the Tisas.

 

She has really nice grips, most of my 1911s and HP have them.Exotic Grips by Esmeralda

Got these on ebay, made by some entrepreneurs in Costa Rica. Very well made. Now, I did have to cut my own ambi relief (because I forgot about it when ordering) and I had to smooth them off right at the bend but I love these grips and they were worth it. Doesn't look like they have any bobtails right now but you could ask.

I’m also in the don’t like the OEM grips camp. They look fantastic. Wilson like. But they didn’t “grab” my hands enough to keep my support from slipping on long strings like a 6 shot Bill Drill.

 

The OEM’s were too slick for me. I replaced them with some more aggressive Hogue G10’s. Like a couple others mentioned, I had to do just a little fitting at the bobtail and also make the safety relief a little deeper so the safety wouldn’t bind. 10 minute job.

No, but the fitting was minor.

The radius’ at the bobtail needed a small amount of trimming with a flat file. There’s also a relief on the back side of the grip that goes over the safety lever. The relief wasn’t deep enough. When the grip was tightened, the safety would bind on the grip. I used a dremel with a pointy/conical grinder to make the relief deeper so the safety didn’t bind. 10 minutes to do the fitting.

 

I got these for my sig at Stoner CNC for $50 they offer the option of bobtail cut or rounded like the Sig I like the stock grips on my Sting Ray put them on the sig just to see while I was waiting for these just to see cause I really like the sunburst pattern
I should add that they offer many different patterns if your not a fan of the starburst

 

If you fit a standard grip to the bobtail you can have just about any grip. Especially if it is a G10 grip, the material is fairly easy to shape. I just did a pair on my little EMP4 and I rather like the result.

cool beans. that's the same one I was looking at, just in the orange. I was mainly curious to see how the fitment was with the more angular cut on the tisas. If you do happen to remember when you get home I would love to see how they look in person.

Most full size grips can easily be modified to fit the bobtail.

Now I feel stupid.

I didn't like the factory grips (gun kept moving when shooting) with these from guun and they are exactly the same pattern as the factory grips, just a different color.

I should have gotten these instead.

Are there any other $20 grips that will fit. Bonus if they are slim line vs standard thickness.
