A retired 88 year old NYC cop, living out his retirement years in a small Irish hamlet had his front door busted in, in a police raid because he had an old service revolver in his possession, which he claimed was "decommissioned". Somehow, a friend of his playfully posted it on facebook. The cops tracked it down and issued a search warrant.
Yup... Ireland is a whole lot safer now that a 88 year old retired cop has been relieved of this dangerous weapon.
