Hey y’all.

Figured I would do a gun post because I like participating. Problem is I only have one 1911 and I already posted it. But I do have a lot of other stuff though. Most of what I collect is HK. I don’t know what it is about these things but I just love them. I’ve had about a dozen and have another half dozen in my collection. Here’s a few of my favorites.

HK SP5: KAC RAS & KAC optic mount. Aimpoint COMPM4s. Surefire mini scout light. Cut KAC broom handle

HK SP5K-PDW: Sawed down KAC MP5 RAS, Cut broom handle stubby grip, folding stock, Aimpoint H1 on KAC riser, KAC battery cap. B&t optic mount.
Image

TPM Outfitters p5SD (mp5sd clone):
Real ported barrel and B&T suppressor. Trijicon mro on tall riser & Steiner OTAL w/ custom switch mount 🤣. I do NV shoots with this one a lot.
Image

HK USC—>UMP conversion by HDPS:
Hk USC converted to ump by HDPS. All German. Milled magazine area, front area. Cut barrel mated with a trilug. HK UMP lower modified to semi. Eotech 553. I like this gun equally to the SD for night vision shooting.

HK MK23 w/ IR laser:

HK VP9w/ surefire & rmr:

HK p8a1:

after that a p30L maybe? What would y’all add?

Bonus: m203 pirate gun pic

I like HK firearms as well.
Just, not any of their new firearms. Back in the 90's I had a brand new HK 91, 93, and SP89. I ended up selling them to finance other firearms like my FN FAL Paratrooper model and my Galill AR 7.62 Nato. And later, an actual transferrable HK MP5 conversion by S&H Arms. I sold that and used some of the money to buy a brand new transferrable Colt M16A2.

In the early 2000's my agency changed our authorized firearms list and issued us HK USP .40 DAO pistols. They sucked royally with the DAO trigger pull that was about 10lbs per every pull. I detested that pistol. A few years later a colleague purchased a personally owned HK USP with the LEM trigger which we were not issued. That pistol had a really nice trigger pull. But, by then the HK USP DAO we were forced to carry left a bad taste in my mouth and I've hated their plastic pistols ever since. They finally dropped that [pistol as our issued pistol and went to the Sig P229 DAK.

This one is still NIB with the original packing grease.

Here are my HK P7M13's and M8's. The P7M13 and M8 pistols are the best, most exceptional 9mm pistols for quality, accuracy, reliability, and best trigger.

That P5SD of yours must be worth about $45,000 nowadays? Is it transferrable or a Dealer Sample? I wish I had kept my HK MP5 and purchased my M16A2 with a credit card. That MP5 would be well worth over $35,000 now.

that’s really a great p7 collection you have there. Sorry for your loss selling that s&h gun. What a bummer.

none of my guns have a a sear (yet). Just pictogram housings. The SD is just sear ready. A semi auto SD.

I’ve been meaning to get a p7 but the right opportunity has not presented itself yet.

what I’m really excited for is the new MKE imports. Rumor is they will be importing a hk53 (5.56 with 8 inch barrel) and a g3 very soon. Will be a very good opportunity for everyone interested to get some interesting pattern hk style guns from a real hk factory for cheap.

I missed that HK91 and bought a PTR91 to scratch that itch. The only differences that I can tell between the HK91 and my PTR91 is the improvement with the rail welded into the top of the cover (much better than that claw mount that raised the scope way above the top of the rifle), the aluminum MLOK hand guard (which is an improvement), and the fact that the PTR91 has a lot less recoil than the HK91. Even with the HK91 collapsing metal stock that I put on it.

have Hdps convert her with a stock block. Youl love it even more in ump config. No plastic welding required!

Oddly enough, HK is just about the only major brand not represented in my gun safe. I used to own a USPc in .40, but that was many years ago. Nothing against their products, but they discontinued all the classics and now everything they sell is polymer.
I actually only really shoot the mk23 If we are talking about pistols. It’s just so large and fun under nods with a laser.

try an mp5 again. Mke has an excellent low cost offering that can be had for well under 1000 bucks. Made in a real hk factory in Turkey!

I wouldn't mind having an MP5, but my state banned the fun sticks last year and they'll probably ban the guns as well this year.

They are overrated IMO. SBR's have all but replaced the sub-guns nowadays. H&K is hampered by an arms hating German Gov't, but ironically that same Gov't has bailed them out from the edge of bankruptcy. Odd relationship to say the least. Their pistols are needlessly complicated to tear down completely. The VP9 lower receiver is a nightmare of "doo hickeys and gizmos". C'mon, a braided trigger bar spring? It's not an AK!!

If I were forced to own a modern German handgun today it would be a Walther PDP and it as well is needlessly complicated. One thing's for sure, these German handguns will give you a better appreciation for the Austrian Glock and its simplicity.;)

H&K isn't really my thing, but that's a cool collection. I wouldn't mind a P9s in .45 but I'd be afraid to shoot it. Break something on that, and parts could be a challenge. Still one of the most accurate .45 ACP pistols I ever shot.

You are correct, sir. I have a P9S in .45 and the buffer housing broke within a couple of shooting sessions. Now it's a very expensive paperweight. On the other hand, I'm a big H&K fan and have several others (including a P9S in .30 Luger). The collections shown in this thread are outstanding.

I only have one, still looking for one of those SLP rifles.
