I just finished building a 9mm 1911. I used a Lasco diamond bit mounted in a dremel to cut the ejector leg notch after I marked the location on the ejector leg with a pin punch through the ejector pin hole. I ended up oversizing the notch in the ejector leg to where I had a gap at the rear of the ejector-to-frame due the the ejector being "loose" and able to rotate upwards at the rear. NOT HAPPY!

So...I finally caved after hand-cutting the notch for years. I bought a Dawson reverse cut 1/16th ejector pin drill bit. It worked FANTASTIC. Had a new ejector leg drilled in about 60 seconds. Pin fit through with the aid of a brass hammer and punch. NO more movement. Couldn't be happier. This is the way I'm going to cut my ejector leg notches from now on. "Work smarter not harder."
