For those who have a MAC 9DS and are in the process of mounting a plate or don’t mind take the plate off, can you look at the right side screw mount hole and see if there is a plate/ledge at the bottom of the threads in the hole. Thank you. I’ll include a pic, hope you can see what I’m talking about.

That looks like the extractor to me, have you taken out the extractor to see if that's the case? It's easy enough to do................
My Holosun came with two sets of screws (into a Tisas), are you missing a set of larger screws?
It might be a good idea to check the box your sight came in, and see if there's another set of screws in the box.

Yes I tried without the plate. The screws the plate came with should be to mount the plate right? I haven’t tried the screws from my holosun. I figured they were for the smaller holes on the plate. The screws that the plate came with just spin and never tighten down, with or without the plate. They’re to small. I can pull the plate off when the head of the screw is all the way down on the plate.
If you are using the screws that came with the OEM plate and they won't tighten up it sounds like they may have stripped. According to their website they are a 6/32 thread pitch to be torqued between 10.2 & 11.9 inch-lbs.

Optic plate cover that should be m4 0.7, correct? To mount the plate to the slide. I went to Lowe’s and that’s what worked just to long.
ordered some screws. Wasn’t sure the length so I got x8 and x10. I’m only $9 in the hole if I’m wrong.
Right thread. Just either the x8 is too long or the dome head is a no. I got a flat head from Amazon. Once I get everything figured out I’ll post exactly what I used. It would be my luck I was the only one to get the wrong screws twice but if I wasn’t maybe this will help someone.
