Depending where you look commander is 4" or 4.25". Check and make sure before you buy.

My go to holster maker is SHOP IWB HOLSTERS | TTGunLeather . His convertible holsters rock. I have probably close to a dozen for variety of guns and carry styles (going back to the plain ol'd IWB and OWB ones before he started making convertible ones).

I usually carry IWB but the convertible one saved my bacon when for some odd reason (my fault.... I knew it was loose and meant to tighten it but never got around to it) I lost one of the screws while traveling. I was able to convert to OWB and still carry!

I had the full size 5" Emissary. It also had the bushingless bull barrel. There are holsters for 1911 types with the rail, but the square trigger guard prevents the Emissary fitting in most. I didn't intend to carry my Emissary, but wanted some kind of holster. A Blackhawk Serpa holster worked, but another holster of the same model was so tight as to be almost unusable. Unless you want to go custom, finding regular production holsters for your Emissary might take a little detective work..

 

I have the new all black Emissary with full rail in 45 cal., here’s the problem. I cant find a holster for the gun. All the mfgs. Default to the Prodigy ☹. Sizes are different.
Information on this model sucks!!
Is this considered a commander size? The captured recoil spring and bushingless barrel is a first for me. Im assuming the recoil spring is 18 lbs. If anyone has info on this model please drop a line. Thanks!

I got my Emissary when they first came out and purchased the Mitch Rosen 5JR from the SA on line store. Well made and comfortable.
