Sorry if this is a newbie question and I have done some searches on it, but took my new Rail Gun out today for the first 200 rds and had about 10 FTF's. Most of them were feeding the first round into the chamber. I was loading the magazine with slide open, and then racking it by hand (dropping the slide). The first round seemed to come halfway in at an angle and stop. Pulling the slide back usually allowed the round to fall out. Then racking it again would bring second round in no problem. I used 3 different magazines 2 were Colt and the other is a Chip McCormick. They all had the same problem. I did have a couple FTF's pop up in the middle of a magazine, same thing stuck halfway in at an angle. Oh, I was using WWB and some factory reloads made by Precision Cartridge.
Thanks for any input. This is my first 1911, so I am still learning. Im going to clean it up tonight and try again this weekend.
