hi guys!! maybe u guys can post ur pistols...especially the KZ 45s. thanks!!!
Nicely done!Well, after a three month wait my project arrived today from Wilson. Exactly three months from the day I shipped it to the day received back. Not bad. I had them do:
Ball cuts
Flat top and serrate slide
Serrate rear of slide
Flute chamber
Recess slide stop
All the other work was already done when I had purchased it.
While it was gone I sent Jon at High Figure grips a slab of wood from a tree that grew on my property. I cut it down two years ago and manufactured the cabinetry in my Son and Daughter in laws new house out of it. Some pieces were very nicely figured and were sent aside for this project and a few others. Jon hit a home run on this set.
Enjoy the pics

Aww man. I'm already seeing it in my daydreams. Shame on you. That's finished better than my 40th Anniversary (it was AT finished). I'm saving up for the 50th Anniversary which is due out in 2027. I would love it to be blued like yours!
Great first one to get.My first WC ever. View attachment 751713
If they announce it before they release it - their 50th anniversary is 2027 IIRC. It will give me time to save for it anyway! (I'm retired and on retirement income).Aww man. I'm already seeing it in my daydreams. Shame on you.
Write it off!! Just because you are a volunteer mod, doesn't mean you don't have legitimate business expenses... running bashes certainly qualifies, in my mind!It will give me time to save for it anyway! (I'm retired and on retirement income).
Congratulations, it is a beautiful WC45. I am curious if you plan to save it or shoot it?My first WC ever. View attachment 751713

What’s the story Dub??
Don’t tell me you picked that up at an estate sale either!
I’ve already heard that one!!😆
I would have to agree the X9 feels a awful lot like a Beretta and shoots great. What’s the story Dub??

It was my second semi-custom order made from George Talia 5+ years ago.
I'd been running a Wilsonized M92G that I really liked.....the EDC X9 felt like something a mad scientist conjured up from my dreams.....a carry gat that was 85% 1911 and 15% M92, thusly 100% excellent.

I was amazed at how fast I could push it on the range and still maintain control.
Two mags emptied faster than anything I've ever owned in this pic.
I've handed the gun over to other shooters who had similar results....tighter, faster.

Quickly found its way into carry use.

My first semi-custom rifle also arrived from George around that same time. More to come on it later.
Suffice to say I'm really enthused over where this rifle will get used: mid-distance plinking and hunter. Like a pile of stuff....it waits for me to get after it on the setup and load development.
