I've been running it hard, getting it too hot to touch, really abusing it.
It's been great

I am slowly upgrading some of the parts

replaced the skinny grips/ grip bushings
replace the ejector with WILSONCOMBAT bulletproof
Replaced the slide stop with a EGW
C & S hammer/sear/disc.
Dawson skinny fiber front sight
Chen Magwell
 
I would seriously watch this.Its really easy to do.I recommend cleaning the extractor and firing pin and the holes they go in on the slide.Had to do this on my kimber eclipse 10mm solved my problem.
If every factory would spend the labor cost to adjust the extractor, the 1911 wouldn't have the "unreliable" reputation it gets.

this is so simple to do, and so many major manufacturers fail to adjust it.

slap it in there and ship it ASAP is the word of the day
