Picking up a new 1911 this week.

5" full rail and will have a TRL-1 attached.

Not concerned with fancy.....kydex is fine....if not preferred as it'll mainly be used din the woods while hunting & scouting. Humidity and bad weather are part of the deal.

OWB style.

I'd appreciate any recommendation you may have for such a holster.

I’m so glad to have seen this thread. I’ve had a Kimber Pro TLE/RL II for a few months that I’ve been unable to carry because I couldn’t find a light bearing holster for it. Just ordered a IWB Mini Wing that seems like it will work. Thanks for the good info.

Thanks.

Was simply impossible to beat the delivery time and low cost. It should work out fine to bang around in duck boats, kayaks or against the tree stands that may be slung over my back.

It's actually fairly dang comfortable, too....especially considering the weight & size fo the gun with the light mounted.

Perfect solution to what I needed.

Glad to have comfortable leather for my normal edc, but grateful for solutions like this to the other needs.

Still haven't made it to the range with it.

Also bought a 10mm Razorback that needs to be broken-in & range tested as well.

There are a couple things with this RIA that I'll address once I do the first full takedown. The grip safety needs more resistance as does the thumb safety.

Trigger and sights are very much to my liking....as is the full rail.

I'm slowly getting my other guns swapped over to fiber optic fronts, too. Really easy on the eyes.
