Since I've had my CCW I've switched my carry firearms around according to seasons, clothes, etc... I've found myself carrying my 3" sp101 most of the time, due to it being small, flat and comfortable to carry IWB. I have full sized GM 1911's and would carry them during cold weather, with the obvious heavier clothes. However, I recently bought an XSE combat commander and after laying my Ruger on top of it I find they are pretty much the same size, except for the odd piece jutting out here and there. I'm sending the commander to Alchemy for some dehorning and other work. My question to all the forum members is, do you feel under armed carrying a five shot revolver? I carry a speedloader or two, and I'm loaded with 38 +p golden sabres. I can shoot each as good as the other, the 45 with HST's. I'm just curious as to what everyone thinks is the BEST idea for EDC. I know it's a personal thing and everybody's different. I personally think that the best weapon to have is the one you happen to have on you when you absolutely need it. Your thoughts are appreciated.
