Picked up a Rossi RS -22 a few weeks ago , I’ve never been much of a rimfire guy as I find the caliber a bit boring especially in a handgun … so I thought since I didn’t currently have a .22lr I figured why not ? Already made a few changes to suit my likes and my aging eyes . Filled the stock with some resin and bb’s ,added a cheap sling and a Barska 3x9x40 scope. Now it doesn’t feel like a Crossman BB gun lol

A lot of very positive reviews led me too this little rifle , i hope to get out with it next week and sight it in . Anyone else have a Rossi ? Are they picky with ammunition?
How about there accuracy?

My only Rossi .22 is the Rossi 62, the knockoff of the Winchester 62 pump .22. I like it a lot.

I have one just like yours that I bought in like new condition at a local pawn shop several years back. Great little rifles that are fun to shoot. Mine has an octagon barrel, very light, and my grandkids and young shooters really enjoy shooting it.

I have just recently gotten into Rossi rim fire. I have the gallery gun all black and the Rio bravo American flag and both seem to work good. The pump you have to make sure you get a good lock up or it won't fire but other than that I like it.

My Rossi is a 626LA. The receiver looks like a 1890 or 62 Winchester, while the action is operated by a lever like the 39M or 9422. Neat little very light rifle and the action is slick and easy to operate. I own the only one of its kind that I've ever seen.
