i'm going to have to buy a new holster,because my department is going to issue the Glock 22. I'm interested in the Raptor holster from Safariland. Is anyone using one currently? I would appreciate any information on one.

we have them for the Beretta 92 series..
They are light years ahead of the other holsters. I used one at Roger's school and it is fast if you practice with it, much faster and better learning curve than the SSIII 070, which is what we had. My slowest officer can be reholstered at level III in 2 sec. I wont hit the street without one and our plainclothes officers use the same holster. No complaints about them whatsoever! Get one if you have the option. Regards, DougC

Although they have them for the Glocks, they are unfortunately not making them yet for the 1911. I tried them with a Glock, and although relatively complex in the draw, they are certainly secure. They are a holster you would want to practice frequently with.
