Just picked up this Sar K2 45 Stainless. 14+1 double stack. These guns are finished nicely. DA/SA trigger. Three dot adjustable sight. Forged frame, slide and barrel. I like the safety. When the hammer is down and the safety is switched on, it locks the trigger/hammer from an accidental pull. Comes with a form fitting plastic case, two 14 rd magazines, brush, cleaning rod, sight screwdriver, lock and paperwork. Going to the range on Wednesday. Added the Walnut panels. This is a real handful of a gun. Fits perfectly in my extra-large hands. Report coming if anyone is interested.

I have a double stack .45, an H&K Mark 23 to be precise. It is a great gun but not something I want to carry around all day. They do say good things around here about the Sarsilmaz guns though. The range report will be interesting.

Range day. Only fired 50 rounds through it. 25 CCI (brass) and 25 S&B. Both 230 grain. I forgot the sight adjustment screwdriver so was a bit frustrated. Tried to compensate. These are two of them. 15 yards. Nothing special yet. But saw good potential as most clustered in little 3-4 shot groups with a flyer or two. Totally me. No functioning issues whatsoever. Handled great. Seemed to do best with the CCI’s.

Well, let me share my experienc. I am a higher round shooter. I shout around 1200 rounds of pistol ammo a month. Last month I put 550rnds through my K2C. I had many FTF between 3 mags. I got some wolff P-14 springs and replaced them and went to the range today. First mag fed perfectly, second no FTF issues, but then I noticed the hammer fell to half cock notch. Then wouldn‘t fire. It appear the trigger bar is broken.
I am no strange to CZ75 design, having owned a CZ75B and Tanfoglio in 9mm/45/10mm. I have noticed that when you get to the 45 and 10mm things dont seem to work well with this design. 9mm….all day everyday. I really like this K2 feel and fit, but after this experience and reading others having multiple problems with the trigger bars breaking, I would have to say this is not reliable gun for CCW. So, for a range gun…sure. Not to depend on my life.

How many rounds through the gun when it quit?

I bought one in 2016 and sold it in 2021. It's big and heavy but mine seemed to be well made. When new, the trigger sometimes wouldn't reset fully in single action sometimes but with use soon became 100% reliable. I had zero problems with feeding, firing or ejection and accuracy was good. I eventually sold it to buy something else. The target below was shot at 18 yards with my handloads.
