If you are going to buy a used p238 or p938, check the Sig Sauer website first.
There is factory recall on both. The recalls are several years old, but there are still a bunch of firearms out there that have not been serviced.
That way, you can shop informedand have a price negotiation point if the one you are interested in if it falls in the serial number range & haven't been serviced.

Thanks for the heads up.

If I plan on buying new I should not have to worry about the currently listed recalls, correct?
That is correct, the recall was for a certain serial number lot for each, and it was a few years ago.
Anything before or after the serial number range is good to go.

Back to the topic,
I have owned two p238s and still own one, and two p938s, the p238s are a bit easier to pocket carry, but I prefer the p938. There is a bit more to hang on to, which makes it better to stay on target when rapid firing. The wife likes the p238 for the milder recoil and fits her hand better.
Which ever you choose, get a good holster, it will make all the difference whether you pocket carry or IWB. I prefer IWB, it is as though it isn't even there compared to larger pistols.
