Hello. I have a sti edge 2011 a planing to put on a holosun 507comp it is no optic ready so i need to put on a opticplate( adapter) is that something you recomend? Any input and if someone have a reddot on a edge and can show pictures?

Egw makes red dot adapters that fit lpa and bomar sight cuts along with others that should fit your sti sight cut, I have used several, the dot sits a smidge higher than a modified slide cut specifically for your sight, but there is no issue with a 25 yard zero being on from 7 yards, I have several with over 15k rounds with no issues. Here is a les baer with a holosun 407.
