As far as I know, just about every gun manufacturer will include a spent shell casing from test firing in the box with your purchase. It's usually in a tiny sealed envelope with the date and other info.
not all come with spent casings in the box some states require they do so the guns that go to those states generally all do my dan wessons did not come with spent casings and there are a few others I bought over the years that didn't either
