I’ve had 9mm’s come with Checkmate and Metalform mags.

 

Probably made by Metalform, but I'm not positive on that. You can buy them direct from DW: http://shop.cz-usa.com/ProductDetail/20033_Dw-1911-9mm-Magazine-10rd. I have two 9mm DW 1911s and the mags do work well. I buy Tripp mags for my all my 1911s when I need them.

 

They are either Metalform or Checkmate. Those two make the mags for just about every 1911 manufacturer.

Same Mag and $13 cheaper than one marked DW direct from DW.

 

Something to consider. I bought a used ECO that had four mags, two Checkmate and two Metalforms. When fully loaded, the lips on the Checkmate mags spread ever so slightly, making it nearly impossible to remove the mag from the pistol. With the Metalforms, never a problem. The Checkmates have been disposed of.

 

For Officer's sized frames in 9mm like the ECO, I prefer the Wilson 8 rounders. But the 8 round Dan Wesson mags (Checkmate I'm pretty sure) that came with my Valkyrie CCO have been flawless as well. I would not hesitate to use them even for carry.
