I really like this ammo and so does my 1911---it is much cleaner than WWB and it even looks like care was taken in it's manufacture. So far reliability and accuracy has been excellent and I'd take PMC even over Federal Match.
When I can find it on sale it is a bargain.
I discovered it when I took my daughter shooting at an indoor range which lays claim to all brass that hits the floor and PMC Bronze was, on that day, cheaper than my usual WWB and even Magtech.
At that point I wasn't ready to go aluminum Wally.
The PMC really surprised me!

It's not a house burner but is reliable and easy in the recoil dept. IMHO perfect for introducing a new shooter to ol' slabsides.

What's been your experience with PMC Bronze 45A?

One of my all time favorite brands of ammo in any caliber, I keep a case of all the major handgun and rifle rounds from them. PPU is my other favorite and my main rifle ammo for 3-gun and other forms of competition, my last favorite is Tulammo since it is cheap and works very nicely.

PMC Bronze 45A is my choice for range ammo. I prefer it to other brands such as WWB, Federal American Eagle, Magtech, and Remington UMC. PMC is manufactured with quality brass and large pistol primers. I also find it to be cleaner than the other brands I mentioned. It is reliable in all my guns, has good accuracy, and the price is reasonable. When I want to step up in quality, I go for Asym Precision. I am always stocked up on PMC and Asym ammo.

PMC Bronze 45 230 is all I use in ball...HST is my go to for HP's.

Both are really awesome.

Given a choice at all, I always will choose PMC ammo for practice. I have never had an issue with it, in any caliber, and especially in .45ACP. I will pay more for it because of that fact. I'll buy Speer Lawman at times as well but for equal price, I'll buy the PMC. I like it very well!

I like PMC Bronze it when I shoot factory .45 (which is not much). Better than white , yellow and the brown black multi color. Brass is great to reload . The multi color that starts with an Fed... is small primer stuff. I have 10K-15K of large primer stuff so the small primer stuff just gums up the works. If I am paying attention I segregate it after picking it up and give it to someone just starting out and warn them about the two primer sizes. (Seems like a safety problem to me) White box brass reloads OK but shooting is dirty and inconsistent. The yellow does not reload all that well. The case walls seem thin and it doesn't hold a bullet well and they don't last for but a few reloads.

When it first came out, the .45 ammo was a bit dirty and a little anemic - That was years ago. Fast forward about 5 years, and I shot some of the newer stuff in 9mm and it shot very well and fairly clean (at least cleaner than it was before), and I rate it up there with AE for range fodder when I shoot factory ammo.

I've always liked the PMC Bronze stuff in 9mm .357 and .45ACP, even in rifle calibers it is some good stuff. I really like how clean and shiny it is as opposed to some of the 'economy' practice ammo that is available. Reloading it is always nice, too. Probably one of the better options out there IMHO.
