1911 slide compatibility

I want to get my Springfield armory 1911 loaded 9mm model to add RMR.

I have purchased Trijicon CA428-C-600757 RMR Mount,

Instead of using my beautiful stainless steel stock slide,
I want to get an extra slide to mill it so I can keep the other one stock.

I have been looking in eBay and I see rock island 1911 9mm slides 5”

No. Simple answer. You might get lucky. There are no drop in parts for a 1911 is the standard saying.
Different manufacturers have reasonably similar blueprints but different standards the parts are machined to.

A member was selling new SA Mil Spec slides at $125 apiece. I bought one. No squawks.
