I have not had any issues using vendors found on Ammoseek.com.

Still, I always check the reviews on vendors I have not used before before placing an order.

 

No they are not all GTG. I've never had any luck finding things on there. Every time I clicked on something it was out of stock etc. I have 5 or 6 vendors I buy from & that's it.

 

I would not count on any vetting from a questionable source. This to include Ammoseek.

No, their vendors are not all “GTG”. AmmoSeek & others are merely aggregators . I got scammed last year by an outfit I found there (Mountain City Supply) for $250.00 . With persistence & diligence I managed to get my money back, but it took me many months & a lot of personal time. Check the customers reviews carefully out first. I was in a hurry & lazy so shame on me.…

 

I've purchased primers several times on AmmoSeek. I Google every vendor before I click on "buy now". Every purchase was fine.

 

Also, do not rely on just the reviews of the vendors on Ammoseek. If you look at some of the reviews they are suspiciously similar and many seem to be posted in batches on any given dates. That being said I use Ammoseek a lot and I've only had an issue once and when it became obvious the vendor did not have what they said they did I requested a refund and my refund finally showed up after about 2 weeks. Otherwise I have had very good experiences and gotten some very good deals using some vendors I had never heard of before. Just do your due diligence.

I've purchased ammo from outdoorlimited.com a number of times. No issues other than they were a little high on shipping, but when they're the only one holding you pay or you do without. Never had a failure to deliver issue.

 

I agree that there is no vetting, but it can be a tool to find good prices from recognized companies.

 

Lots of case deals with free shipping from known suppliers. You may want to look at some of the stuff AR has right now. I’ve never used it, but might be worth trying. Cascade is really CCI??

 

I guess I’ve been lucky, I’ve never had a bad experience purchasing ammunition online. I try to stick with companies that I’ve heard of, or that have plenty of good reviews. A while back I bought some ammunition online (through AmmoSeek) from a sporting goods store in another state (Georgia). They did have a legitimate looking website with phone number and their address. I did look on Google street view to make sure the place existed. No problems with that order.

 

😆 Looks can be deceiving sometimes too! We looked up American Reloading that same way and it looks like an outdoor pole barn. They’ve been really good. Expanded too!
