I was wondering how the case support was. I almost bought a delta elite once but was told that the case support was not good and shooting "real" fill power loads out of it was not a good idea.

I have a Falcon in 10mm it's a nice gun with plenty of barrel support for the hotter loads but right now is on its way back from NHC for some severe slidestop notch peening from the shooting ammo that's a little hotter than the hornady factory spec ammo. Although if I had it to do over I would have gotten a longslide 10mm or a standard slide 1911 that nighthawk offers. On a 10mm you want as much weight in/on the slide as you can get if your going to run the hot loads a lot.

I dont own one but if I were to..... it would be a predator 10mm. Due to the heavy flange cone barrel for recoil management. From what I know nighthawk and wilsons are probably the best choice for a 10mm 1911.

Well I tell ya any nighthawk you choose will serve you and that purpose well. Grp is a great choice 10mm or 45.

For a 10mm you want to beef that thing up as much as possible. Best thing to do would be one piece guide rod, long slide, predator barrel, compensator (if you can), and a railed frame. That is pretty much the general consensus on the Wilson Forums from the rep there and he is pretty spot on with his knowledge.

Nighthawk does have a warranty if things go wrong, but you might want to help out the gun as much as possible to prevent that.

I would definitely choose a 10mm if I had the chance ... I just know I probably won't shoot it too much due to ammo cost and the only 10mms I want are Wilsons and NHC, and it would be a shame to have so much money spent on guns that just sit there.

Good luck with your decision.

May I suggest you do some research on different guns and 10mm platforms before you jump right in. I know I wish I would have.
Don't get me wrong NHC makes a fine handgun but a 10mm 1911 has to be setup right to last as far as longevity goes when shooting the hot stuff for extended periods.

I would for sure go with the 10mm. Good luck finding 50GI ammo other than from GI.

If you'd asked me, I would have told you something different. When the Delta Elite was introduced, it was the only 10mm pistol being made, and all 10mm ammo was "real" full-power ammo.

I would follow their advice concerning their ammo.
