I need a recommendation for tape on the flats of the frame and slide before I aluminum oxide blast the rounds? I was pointed towards a 3m product that is a vinyl type product. I am trying to keep the clean edges and don't want the tape to roll up. Any thoughts is most helpful

I used pin stripe tape. Its thick but narrow so it fits in grooves and easy to bend around turns without too much issue.

I have used a wide variety of tapes from simple cellophane tape to thick target pasting tape. They'll all work fine, just know that you have to keep the nozzle moving and that eventually any tape will be compromised by abrasion from the media. The good thing it that if you've done a good job prepping the surface, one good, quick dusting will make the surface as matte as it will ever get.
